Cutting the cardboard, using the penknife, getting the correct dimensions, making sure the dimensions are correct and precise, using the hot glue gun, glueing the cardboard together, making hinges for the product to work, making the "Handle" of my clothes hanger, making the edges less sharp, making it aesthetically pleasing, making the carabiner attached to the prototype, making the structure strong, stabilised etc.
2. How do you overcome the difficulties encountered?
Ask guidance from Miss Seah and make improvement to existing product or method.
3. What are the 2 key takeaways for this lesson?
My original idea would put unnecessary stress on the area where clothes rests on. Stress are commonly avoided in designing a product. Only attaching the carabiner is not enough modeling, must be creative and think out of the box, maybe making a bendable hanger.
